Trying a different outlet, with some dead eyes...

I've been trying some graphic art with Adobe Illustrator and I  love it! It has so many different tools and options to make your art what you want it to be. The different effects you can download make it all worth it. You can do like I did here and sketch the picture on paper, scan it into your computer, and paint and outline it in the program. I can't believe the results. So much fun.

I recently got some new art supplies. My new favorite things are now Gesso and Glazing medium. I have also been taking advantage of the Christmas sales at Joanne's where the scrapbook paper is on sale 5 sheets for $1! I've been using paper in my paintings along with the gesso.I hope to make some better stuff soon. This is mainly experimentation. Definitely more fun than paint alone. The finished product is so far pretty awesome!

Long Time....No Paint...

I've been away from painting for too long! I have had a few health issues but I am finally feeling better! Crocheting is taking a lot of my time...Christmas gifts everywhere! Can't wait to post pics. Tis the season for yarn and chocolate and everything else they usually mention......Here's something I did while I've been away...Another pretty lady...
